I was so proud to be picked to represent Britain in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics in the slalom and giant slalom disciplines. Since I was picked for the junior British training squad at 14, I had dreamed about that moment and this year my dream became a reality.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family, friends and all the British skiiers who have taken part in fundraising. I would also like to thank my sponsors. Without all this support I wouldn’t have even been able to have made it.

It was a hard few months leading up to the Olympics, but there’s nothing in the world to beat that adrenalin rush – Roll on 2014!
